Who is your mediator?

The Watchtower teaches that Jesus is only the mediator for the "anointed class" "Likewise, the Greater Moses, Jesus Christ, is not the Mediator between Jehovah God and all mankind. He is the Mediator between his heavenly Father, Jehovah God, and the nation of spiritual Israel, which is limited to only 144,000 members." Worldwide Security Under the "Prince of Peace" (1986) pp.10 (16)-11 "So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the "mediator" only for anointed Christians." "The "great crowd" of "other sheep" that is forming today is not in that new covenant. However, by their associating with the "little flock" of those yet in that covenant they come under benefits that flow from that new covenant." Watchtower 1979 Apr 1 p.31 Without a medi...

(1) Your statement: “their work allows for the rendering found in the Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures at John 1:1.”  There is no statement in our grammar that was ever meant to imply that “a god” was a permissible translation in John 1:1. A. We had no “rule” to argue in support of the trinity. B. Nei...

What does Scripture say about Jesus?

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John 1:1 John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14 Philippians 2:5-7 “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” – Philippians 2:5-7 Hebrews 1:3 “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” – Hebrews 1:3 Colossians 1:15 “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” – Colossians 1...

( 6000 years since the creation of Adam ended in 1873 and that Christ would return in 1874). Didn't happen. Russel said it happened invisibly - Barbour thought it was nonsense because that's what was said with the Millerite failed prophecy & they parted ways.  Russel starts printing Zion's Watchtower 1879 Double downed on theology ...
